My bandage came off — it lasted a couple days longer than they predicted.
I am going to have an awesome scar.

It’s wonderful that it’s working, Russ–thank God, and your docs and their staff, for that.
I’m so glad your mom is there too–you owe her even more than you owe the doctors. :) (Morally, I mean. Not financially. :| )
I suppose I don’t need to tell you to tell her “Hi!” since she reads all this probably more often now than you do. :)
P.S. You (et al) should consider having your next really expensive treatment in Korea. :) You still speak it, no? I mean, if forced, if it were the only way to get kimchi? The care can be (by picking the right place) just about as good as in America (95%?) at some fraction of the cost (10%? 20%? blasted weak dollar will affect this), and I believe kimchi is widely available, your primary concern. Bar-b-q kimchi.
    Ahn yong!
And now a song, to lift your spirits: http://youtube.com/watch?v=K907lLUzmC0 :)
(I think Marge could set this up on your desktop to repeat so you don’t need to get up.)
Here’s an inspiring pop version: http://youtube.com/watch?v=t9b85_KlIBU

Oh GOOOOD Grief ! That old debble John is at it again! Gave Russ a big laugh so thanks John!

  3. John says:

Marge, I’ve watched the evolution of your post(s) here with great interest. :) I’ll see if it/they change(s) again over the next 12-24 hours, and then consider a suitably diabolical reply. :)

  4. Marge says:

Golly gee John, I didn’t know I evolved but hey, in this house anything is possible. I will leave the deep thinking to you two brainiacs! In the meantime Russ almost has me converted to Good Eats! Does that mean I’m evolving as a cook?
