It’s not that I’m ignoring y’all, as such. I’m just otherwise most thoroughly engaged in something utterly engrossing.

It’s called Mass Effect 3, and if by now you aren’t aware that I’m a fan, you haven’t been paying attention.
Here’s a sample mission I ran in the wee hours this morning. The goal: to protect some civilians from being kidnapped.

Experienced ME2/ME3 players will note that I didn’t make full use of my biotics. Mea culpa.
I’ve been informed that ME3 is a great game with a horrible ending. Do you agree?
It’s an *amazing* game with a confused ending… at least, the one ending I’ve seen so far. I’ve read that there are as many as eight different endings possible.
I’ve never played a game that grabbed me so much. Absolutely terrific writing; some moments are incredibly moving.
The gonads-out action doesn’t hurt, either.
My coworker was thinking about disability after this game. Said he couldn’t sleep after the terrible ending.
I’m not as big a fan of the ending as I am of the rest of the game. There are, I think, too many loose ends left untied, and the ending itself seems to me to be mostly unrelated to Shepard’s past actions.
But then, I’ve only played through once so far. And if the volume of uproar is any guide, EA & Bioware will be plugging some of the plot holes with DLC. We’ll see.
