Sweep the leg, Mitt.

I’m just back from voting. Because of my handicap, I got to use the drive-up curbside voting, which I thought was nice. There was no waiting.
I spoke with the poll worker; here in our heavily-Republican district, in-person turnout up to about 3:00 was at about 30-40%. That, of course, doesn’t count the early or absentee voters. The poll worker, who I recognized from several previous elections, said she thought there could be another 30% added to the turnout during rush hour, after people get off work.
On the whole, this adds up to high turnout. In this area of North Carolina, that’s a good thing for Romney.
Based on the little I’ve heard so far from various places around the country, GOP turnout is heavy; Dem turnout… not quite so much.
I’m generally confident of a Romney win, but there’s always an element of doubt. The only sure cure for that is a landslide in the early results.
Beat the margin of cheating.
Sweep the leg.
If you haven’t already, get out there and vote. NC polling places are open until 7:30 Eastern.
