Quote of the Day

Rep. Eric Cantor, House majority leader, at AIPAC:
If the Palestinians want to live in peace in a state of their own, they must demonstrate that they are worthy of a state. So to Mr. Abbas I say, stop the incitement in your media and your schools, stop naming public squares and athletic teams after suicide bombers, and come to the negotiating table when you have prepared your people to forego hatred and renounce terrorism, and then Israel will embrace you.
Until that day, there can be no peace with Hamas. “Peace at any price” isn’t peace, it’s surrender.
I’m not sure who originally said it, but it needs to be remembered: “If the arab nations ever disarm, there will be no more war. If Israel disarms, there will be no more Israel.”.
Perhaps before suggesting that Israel cede an inch of ground to Hamas, et al., our current President would do well to consider who is on the side of civilization, who is on the side of barbarism, and which side we ought to support.
Am Yisrael Chai.
Video of Cantor’s well-received speech is below the fold.
