Gone

My sister’s and niece’s Bubba is gone, victim of a mauling. The vet couldn’t do anything for him, mortally wounded as he was, except to relieve his pain and ease his passing.
He was a great little cat, just over two years old. He brought a great deal of joy to my sister and especially to my niece, and his loss has broken more than one heart…
… mine included.
So long, little Bubba. See you at the bridge. Say hi to Moose, Stonewall, Sam and Snowflake for me.
Now, how to heal a 12-year-old girl’s broken heart?
Yes, Bubba has left us and has broken my heart but I know that I will see him again in heaven. Do animals go to heaven?
Faith
My deepest condolences.
“Do animals go to heaven?”
I don’t know, but where ever it is, that’s where I want to go.
What a wonderful kitty. I am so sorry a your loss. God bless.
What a wonderful, beautiful kitty. How unbearably sad. God bless.
In that first picture, Bubba reminds me of Aslan from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. What a beautiful cat. I am so sorry for your loss.
Our sincerest condolences.
To lose such a precious young one is always a bigger shock than if he had led a good long life. But I believe our beloved pets go to the Eternal Playing Grounds where we will visit them after we pass on. And he’ll be in good company: my dog who died last week loved cats. She’ll sure take care of him…
Can it be heaven if animals don’t go there? I for one don’t think so.
Our condolences on the loss.
Oh no, we’re all so sorry about Bubba. Purrs and Purrayers to all his people.

I once (when about 11 or 12) asked a minister if our pets went to heaven. His answer “would it be heaven without them?” So yes, I believe our pets will be waiting for us in heaven.
