Bug eyed monster

I’m convinced Kismet would be an amazingly effective hunter, were he allowed out of the house. His feather-on-a-string chasing skills are the stuff of legend.
Here we see him keeping his eye on one of the few (so far) winged bugs that has made it into the house this summer:

He later caught it mid-air in a flying leap off my recliner. Quite amazing — I wish I’d captured the moment. Then he ate it. Thoroughly disgusting.
At least he didn’t leave a mess for me to clean up.

  1. We’ve caught all kinds of bugs; dragonfly’s are the best! They make really cool noises with their wings. Gandalf has even caught several birdies in mid-air. He’s a Mighty Hunter – or a bad boy, depending on whether or not you’re Mom and have to bury a birdie.

Hi Kismet! Nice to meet you. What a great hunter you are! mmmm bugs are soooooooooo good. It is fun to eat them, but it is even more fun to barf them up and watch your beans clean it. I really enjoy that.
I hope you’ll stop by and visit me! I love making new friends. My evil alter ego Bendrix does too.
