I wish I could remember who recommended it, but this week while at the Petsmart, I picked up a cat-sized FURminator. Mycah is a bit of a shedder, so….
This thing is great. The results after just one minute of combing her:

Hasta la vista, hairballs.
Now… what the heck do I do with all this hair? I suppose I could learn to knit.
It’s Friday – board the Friday Ark at The Modulator.
The The Carnival of the Cats this week will be hosted by Aloyisius at Catymology.
And for your every day cat needs, a visit to the Cat Blogosphere is recommended.
Wow, that’s a lot of fur. Thank goodness we don’t have to worry about hairballs. It seems that lots of kitties really like the Furminator, but we’re pretty sure it would hurt our skin.

Mmmm. Unlike Dragonheart and Merlin, we are very very furry. But does it make noise? It would scare us awholabunch if it is noisy. Our human has a lady come to the house to get rid of all the extra furs; and yes, she puts it all in a bag and says she’ll knit a himmie-huggin-blankie someday! Crazy lady.
I fling all the Furminations (hair) out of the window, the birds here (UK) like it for nest building. I sometimes wonder if the baby birds now associate the smell of cat hairs with “Mum”
We just love our furminator! And mom has notice dat there is a lot less fuzz on da carpet too.
i loves mine furminator, but not as much as Missy Blue Eyes. They don’t make any noise, unless you count tha cats purring wif contentmint.

oooo, kitty fur blankets. they’d be really soft too!
Can’t wait to see the new furballs when you get them and put them online for us.
Ohhh, wow, that really works!! That is one big hairball!
…But, what will I have to cough up then? I’d like to tell you that I’ve written a scathingly funny book, The World Is Your Litter Box, which will be out in May. The book is cleverly disguised as a cute cat book so humans will buy it, but is, in fact, a how-to manual FOR cats. Check it out on my website, http://www.theworldisyourlitterbox.com.
