I Got Nothin’

Still no word on the MRI results. The longer I wait, the more nervous I get.
Nonetheless, I am constantly reminded that whatever my problems are, they are as a hill of beans when compared to some other peoples’ problems.
Like Tony Snow, for instance.
Man, that just plain sucks. Good luck, Tony.
Perspective is a good thing to have. At times, it makes us realize that we are not as alone, or not as troubled, or not as poor as we think we are.
We truly are blessed in more ways than we imagine! Keep the faith, my friend! (I was going to say old friend, but that would make me an old friend as well) – how about long-time friend!
Not that it’s anticipating the results or trying to jinx the situation, but I’d suggest reading David L. Lander’s “Fall Down Laughing.”
It’s not long and it’s not terribly deep, but you get into Lander’s mind with it and how MS can affect family, relationships, etc.
Even if it doesn’t turn out to be MS, read the book anyway. It’s worth it.
And I’d like to suggest something regarding *the second cane*: use the opportunity to send up *the first cane* by looking for one that can be spun, etc.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m having visions of a living, breathing Picasso attacking Daley Plaza. And I blame last night’s tour by Rosa, because that sculpture in the corner of the garden looked like a Piacasso hatchling. ;)
Only being a reader of yours for a short time, I feel strange yet wanted to certainly say you are in my thoughts. No matter what the outcome, I have the feeling you will overcome and make a land mark in time. Still, I am sorry you are having such a time. Sending again, prayers and thoughts. mw
