A Few Brief Post-Election Thoughts

Yo, Delaware GOP: you can’t nominate a fruitcake — even a True Conservative fruitcake — and expect to win. Certain minimum qualification standards ought to be met. Non-RINOness isn’t enough.

If the Nevada GOP had nominated Sue Lowden — a far better candidate than Sharron Angle — Harry Reid would almost certainly have lost. Merely claiming tea party affiliation isn’t enough, in my ever so humble opinion, to outweigh an utter lack of experience.

Obama, in his press conference today repeatedly said, in effect, that his policies are OK, they just haven’t been effective enough. That the decisions of the last two years ought not to be revisited.

Bzzzzt, wrong.

I quite like Michelle Malkin’s advice.

The GOP took both the Assembly and Senate here in NC. Maybe there’s hope for us all.

California is doomed. To my friends and family still there: get out while you can.

A large variety of execrable people — Alan Grayson, Arlen Specter and Charlie Crist come to mind — are about to be unemployed. Heh, and good riddance.
