If you want to Construct you call on a Democrat and if you want to Tear Down you ask a Republican, it’s that simple.

As if constructing, by its very nature, was necessarily a Good Thing.

I offer this simple rejoinder:

The Berlin Wall was constructed. The gulags were constructed.

Tear down? Damn straight.

These ideas are almost exclusively about how other people should live their lives. These are ideas about how one group of people (the politically successful) should engineer everyone else’s contracts, social relations, diets, habits, and even moral sentiments.

Is it any wonder, then, that millions rejected those ideas?
