For me, 2010 kind of sucked.
OK, strike that; in a number of ways, it really sucked. Personally, it was only good in a couple of limited and distinct ways. If I were not an inherently cheerful guy, I’d have spent a good deal more of the last year cussing out loud.
2011 had better be an improvement, or I’m going to have a few cross words for someone.

We missed having a white Christmas by only a couple of hours. There were a couple of inches of accumulation when I went to bed this morning, and about six inches when I woke up. We’re currently under a winter storm warning, so I expect it’ll get deeper.
In the spirit of “pics, or it never happened,” I present the evidence.
No, I didn’t shovel that myself. One of my neighbors offered to do it for me, unsolicited. I demurred, but he did it anyway. I’m not precisely sure who it was, as I didn’t recognize the email address.
I have the best neighbors.
