A Week’s Two Weeks’ Worth of Twitter Updates

- Mycah didn't eat or drink at all today. I gave her a dose of sub-q fluids, but that can't be enough. Now I'm just petting & talking to her. #
- I need sleep… but I can't bring myself to leave Mycah alone. #
- Mycah seems to be resting OK. She had a sip of water but wouldn't eat the tuna I put in front of her. I'm off to sleep a bit before work. #
- Mycah's still hanging in there. I dosed her with sub-q Ringer's again; I don't know if she's eaten. Gonna try syringe-feeding. #
- She's dozing in the bottom half of her carrier, on my desk: http://t.co/SAVZ5ggU #
- Mycah isn't dozing all the time – she occasionally looks to see what I'm doing. http://t.co/Lhh6ZYMn #
- Mycah is going to get looked at by the vet, just in case there's something to be done. I am not optimistic… but there's always hope. #

- Pepperdine vs Tennessee women's basketball on TV. Cool seeing my niece on TV. I never got to see her high school games. #
- It's been a week. It doesn't hurt as much, but I still miss Mycah a lot. Kismet seems to, too – he keeps looking in her usual spots for her. #
- Mmm… tamales… mmmmm. #
- Received a sympathy card from the vet, with notes from all her staff – they liked Mycah a lot. It was very touching. #
- Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work I go. Though I doubt anyone, under any circumstance, would mistake me for one of the seven dwarfs. #
- I'm still finding bits and pieces of Mycah's life here & there… a pill bottle, a favorite toy… I really miss the old girl. #
- Them: "Help! We need you to fix our switch!" Me: "Which switch?" Them: "We can't tell you." It's another lovely Saturday in Network Land. #
