Now that everyone on the entire planet knows the “pull my finger” joke, wouldn’t it now be a terrific diversion?
Dad: “Pull my finger.”
Teen: “Hehehe, OK.” (Pulls with one hand, pinches nose shut with the other.)
Dad: (punches kid in the solar plexus.) “Ha-ha!”
This, by the way, is more complex a scenario than our current foreign policy, which seems to come down on the side of us apologizing for having a finger to pull in the first place.
