Comfy Cat
Having recently won the Cat Friends Helping Friends raffle for a "Gizzy" quilt, I was eager to see how any or all of the cats would like it.
It arrived in the mail on Wednesday; Kismet wasted no time making himself comfortable.
I'll try to find a sunnier spot for it. The upstairs hallway at the top of the stairs may not be quite the best place. Can you say "trip hazard?"
Don't miss the Friday Ark at The Modulator.
The Carnival of the Cats this week is hosted by Grace and Kittens.
And for your every day cat needs, a visit to the Cat Blogosphere is always recommended.

You could do what I do, Kismet, and drag it around to the spot you want to sleep in. The best part is dey don't fall apart when you do dat.

Kismet, you look marvelous on your Gizzy!
Sadly we do not have a Gizzy. This is especially sad considering our Mom quilted for years.

Looks like a cat spot to me! When I spread out in the middle of the kitchen, Mom calls me a Speed Bump!

Kismet, make sure to get some fur on it pretty quick and rub your scent on it so everybody knows it's yours.

Nice to see Kismet adopting the Cat Loaf position on the new Gizzy Quilt. This is the official testing position for any new bed :)

Did your squiggles show up?

Glad to see Kismet likes the Gizzy quilt. Mom started making them to help get "green papers" for my big brother Gizzy when he got sick last year. It's the cat bloggers who named them "Gizzy Quilts." Gizzy was a really cool cat, very friendly. Now he's at the Rainbow Bridge.
Kismet is quite a handsome boy.

Ah, yes - they certainly did. I meant to let you know... but... uh... there was a solar eclipse. Yeah, that's what it was, an eclipse....
The lads love them - they are scattered all over the house.
