Vindication
It seems I'm not alone in thinking that modern girls' fashion is, well, slutty.
One girl did something about it.
Bravo, young lady!

I am glad to see this. I have a young daughter who is going to turn 12 this year, and I am really scared by what she may want to wear to school when she hits middle school.

I read about it a while back and wholeheartedly approve. I cringe at the clothes they sell to little girls these days. I couldn't beleive it when I saw a 7ish year old in a cropped top, low rise jeans, makeup and nail polish. Hell, I wans't allowed to even wear coloured nailpolish till I was 16, and even then it was a fight :) Never mind wearing makeup.

Hear, hear. I have two 10-year-old nieces. They are the next targets of these things. I shudder to think of the pressures that will be put on them in the next few years.

What the heck are the parents thinking? It's so creepy.
I got the same weird vibe when I first saw the "glamour shots" of Jon-Benet (sp?) Ramsey. Little kids ought not to be dressed like that. Period. Let 'em be kids.

I knew a pair of sisters in high school who weren't allowed to go on dates, period, until they were 18. I was crushed... 'cause I had a thing for one of them. Wholesomeness gets me pretty nearly
every time.
I'm just a sucker that way.
