Sigh. Me too.
Clubbeaux misses Calvin and Hobbes.
So do I. If ever a "mere" comic strip attained the exalted status of "Art", C&H was it.

Watterson had sense enought to go out on top. Most comics have a very good initial few years, followed by a decsent in mediocrity as the public grows accustomed to the humor and the cartoonist starts to run out of ideas. It even happened to Al Capp.
What I wish he had done was to start an entirely new strip.
