Quite a while ago, I noted that one of those things everyone ought to be able to do (or at least ought to try) in order to be a fully rounded adult is to be able to play a musical instrument. I thought I might take a crack at either the guitar or keyboard, but I never took it any further than that.
I have since reconsidered. I’m going to give the guitar a shot.

Good luck! Don’t be discouraged if you fingers are a bit tender – particularly with steel strings – they’ll toughen up pretty quick (your fingers, not the strings!). I used to play for my own amusement, but sold the guitar during one of those “lean times” we sometimes get – maybe I’ll pick it up again in the future.
