- Anyone who believes that nonsense about cats being patient has not seen my critters if feeding time is 30 seconds late. #
- Thunderboomy storm… Kismet is so freaked out, he flung himself at me for, I presume, some security. Or treats. Never can tell with him. #
- Another night of rain. One can only hope this bodes well for my lawn's longevity this year. #

- The work week begins with a classic "high CPU due to ARP" problem. May the rest of what I deal with this week be so straightforward. #
- My legs seem more useless than usual this week, especially the right. Can't lift it high enough to climb stairs. Very disturbing. #
- I have detected an emerging strategy on Packet's part: he begs for food 10-15 minutes earlier each day. Clever kitteh. #
- Looks like today is turning into another Good Ticket day (knock wood.) So far, an ISDN problem (my forté) and a routing loop. Cake. #
- Phone calls from the Czech Republic are the highlight of my week. Glad I'm not paying *that* phone bill. #
- Happy birthday, Dad. Wish you were still here. #
- I'd like to say I'm having a good day, but if I do, something will come along to ruin it. #
